How much time does it take to finalize the deal after finding the apartment?
The process takes anywhere from a few days to two weeks. This depends on the landlord’s approval, document verification, and the tenant’s preparedness. Background checks and negotiations sometimes affect the timeline as well. We do everything possible to reduce it.
Can you ensure the apartment allows pets?
Definitely. Please mention this to us upfront as many landlords do not allow pets or impose additional deposit requirements. As long as you mention it on time, there is no reason to worry!
How much time does it take for the landlord to decide?
The application process for an apartment typically lasts 2 weeks. During this time, the landlord is considering other opportunities as well. However, we ensure that your application stands out from the crowd and sometimes we receive an immediate answer.
What documents do I need to provide to secure the rental?
You typically need an identity document (ID or passport) and proof of your income (salary slip, contract details). Sometimes we also require a guarantor statement or credit check in the case of students, for example.
What if I am still abroad, can you organize a virtual tour?
Yes, the agent visiting the apartment on your behalf will show you around as if you were there. We will also record everything and take additional photos so that you can make the decision regardless of where you are.
How can I be sure that the property is legitimate and that it really exists?
A fair question to ask. We are verifying the property and the landlord before it reaches you. Only after all the documents are checked and verified, we ask you to consider the property.
Can you help me understand the contract and all the terms before signing?
Absolutely. We will explain to you the rental agreement’s terms, including key clauses related to the deposit, maintenance, rent increases, and termination.
Does the rental require the deposit and how much is it?
The deposit is almost always required and it amounts to two months rent. You will get the deposit back after the contract ends provided that there is no damage to the property or any unpaid duties.
